ASH 3002y Approaches to American Culture
Taking Stock

For this assignment, I'd like you to write a few paragraphs assessing the technologies with which you've been experimenting.  Specifically, I'd like you to consider the effectiveness of HTML and the internet for the following purposes:  research, in-class work, and the presentation of your own projects.  You need not provide comprehensive and sweeping assessments for each of these areas; rather, specific comments on strengths and weaknesses are appropriate.

You should also feel free to incorporate comments on your personal experience of this technology so far.  Did you approach this aspect of the course with trepidation?   With enthusiasm?  What have been the biggest surprises so far along the way?   What are you most pleased with in this work?  What has disappointed you?   What would you like to learn between now and the end of the semester?
