Nassau Hall -- The main building of the College of New Jersey, just relocated to Princeton from Newark.

Removal from Northampton -- Edwards was dismissed from his ministry in Northampton after 25 years of service in that position;his early successes in the post during the Great Awakening had been followed by a growing contentiousness between him and several of his more prominent parishoners
